  4. In this bundle you will find:

  6. NewtDb, UtilityDb and XferDb updated to allow for 64 databases - if you are registered for 16 Db's.
  7. NewtDb Soupervisor: An application that will enabling filing of soups.
  8. Newton Script information and Sample code.

  13. If you put Newton Script objects on your screens, the previous version  (v1.25 and below) of NewtDb and UtilityDb will not be able to be used as you will get an errors.   So, make a backup of your Newton before experimenting with Newton Script.  Just in case.

  15. You can, of course, delete all Newton Script Screen Objects and then all will be well if using a previous version of NewtDb or UtilityDb.

  17. As always, please backup your Newton before installing new software. Use the NBU, the NCU may only make a incremental backup if you done move it backup files to a new folder / subdirectory.

  53. - Added Newton Script support.
  54. - Made Edit List window go full screen
  55. - Edit List now keeps same display / location when re-opened in same edit.
  56. - Fixed bug where if you scroll past end of Edit List and selected, an error occurred if you tried to select from the list.
  57. - Fixed bug in Edit List when only one field was shown, then two in another edit as only one field would then show.
  58. - Fixed 'click through' in EditList as clicking on background fell into main screen.
  59. - Rearranged startup code to help with the MP2K heap fragmentation problem of random restarts until Apple publicly releases an O/S update to fix. Another help is to file all items in a soup on only one store (Internal / Card).

  62. - Added Newton Script support.
  63. - Fixed bug where changing a database name didn't display the new name.
  64. - Added code so that when designing screens, if the button bar (or an other application, namely Start Bar) was on the top, you could select objects. Before you would have to offset your taps.
  65. - Added option in EditList  to show only a single field, but put the data from the second list field in the record.

  69. - Fixed a minor bug in XferDb that allowed a button tap to receive while sending.
  70. - Changed NewtDb to a single release application. Gone are the different ones for 4/8 and 16/32.

  73. NewtDb Soupervisor
  74. --------------
  75. This application will enable the filing of NewtDb soups. i.e.. be able to move the soups items from card <-> internal. Just like the built in application. To enable filing, run the application and press the Install button. You only need to run the application again if you add databases. You may (if you want), press the Remove button to take away filing.

  77. To move items, tap the soup name, not the folder icon at the bottom of the screen, in the storage folder. Then tap the folder in the little window that shows how many items are in the soup and where they are. Then select a destination store and press the file button.

  79. An additional function (when you 'Install') is that the NewtDb soup names should show up in the NCU and NBU for selective restore.
